Naja Long Bio
Naja Hall is an entrepreneur, creative, and subject matter expert. She was proudly born and raised in Memphis, TN, and has called Harlem home since 2007. She is the founder of the largest blended family community for millennials, Blended and Black, and the creator of VIPStepmom.com, a vibrant online community that supports stepmothers. As a Certified Coach and Educator, Naja understands that family is the first and most influential force in human development. She dedicates her work to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s most challenging transitions, promoting empathy, accountability, and emotional intelligence through storytelling and human connections.
Naja is also the host of the popular podcast I Know I’m Crazy with Naja Hall and the author of the Amazon best-selling Girl, Bye! book series. Never one to shy away from filling gaps in the market, she expanded her entrepreneurial endeavors by launching Naja Hall Beauty, a brand centered on redefining personal beauty standards and empowering individuals.
Naja earned a Bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Sciences from The University of Tennessee and later pursued an MBA in International Business at The University of North Texas. While working in Dallas as a corporate Buyer, she had an epiphany: the monotony of the corporate world wasn’t her path. While watching colleagues in grey suits shuffle like lemmings, she realized she craved something more creative and dynamic. With her characteristic humor, she describes this moment as the time she hopped on her “glittery broomstick” and flew away, never looking back!
In addition to her professional pursuits, Naja stays connected to her comedy-writing roots through her passion project Dating Debacles, where she blends humor and real-life experiences to explore the complexities of modern relationships.
If Naja could have one superpower, she’d choose teleportation. She dreams of enjoying cheese eggs, bacon, and grits with her Grandma in Memphis heaven each morning, taking a mid-day swim in Antigua, having lunch in Rome with perfect strangers, and still being home in time for dinner with her husband in Manhattan.
